Named for Field Marshal Blücher, General Forwards, the seventy one year old Prussian who marched through the night and reached Waterloo just in time to save Wellington. The blend has the same quiet power as the man: it opens smooth and builds beautifully as it goes.
A rare Zimbabwean hybrid Habano leaf sits alongside Dominican and aged Pennsylvania Broadleaf, giving dark chocolate and espresso up front, a deep savoury richness through the middle, and a warm baking spice across the finish. A rewarding boutique cigar that reminds me of the Cuban brand Bolivar a lot, for the smoker who loves a blend with real depth, shipped across Japan from RACC.
