Tisey is the highland reserve above Esteli, and the name means the breezes that come off it. The petit toro is an interesting shape, short in the hand but wide in the ring, and that width keeps the smoke cool from the first light to the last inch.
It is extremely smooth and completely direct, no detours. Bittersweet cocoa and honey carry it, over butter biscuit and a warm run of baking spices, with cream softening everything. That butter biscuit note takes me straight back to the sables they sold in France in one kilo bags, with little messages stamped into every one, bonjour, je t'aime, toi papa. Drop one into a bowl of chocolate milk and it went soft. This cigar has exactly that flavor. Forty minutes, small format, real quality time. Shipped nationwide across Japan from RACC.
