Honey leads, then vanilla and almonds arrive together over a butter biscuit base, with cream and caramel filling out the middle. That combination is close to home for me. I grew up in Montelimar, the nougat capital of the world. My whole family worked the nougat factories and so did I, and the place smelled of caramel, roasted almonds and honey all day long. This cigar tastes like that smell. The last third turns to raisins and sweet tea, then finishes on choux pastry filled with licorice and more honey. Sophisticated, gentle, and one of the easiest cigars in the shop to enjoy. Shipped nationwide across Japan from RACC.
