Casa Nicaragua built this one after a night walking Paris, and the name is a straight tribute to the city of lights. The San Andres maduro wrapper does the heavy lifting. The cold draw alone is worth stopping for, pure cocoa powder out of the tin, the kind you used to sneak a spoon of as a child.
Lit, it turns properly sweet. Dark chocolate, pear and espresso fold together into a clean mocha, then ripe red grapes and caramel come through the middle, and it closes on pastry cream and flakes of puff pastry, exactly like a pain au raisin still warm from the bakery. The robusto keeps all of that tight and quick, the same blend with the flavor turned up and the clock turned down. Shipped nationwide across Japan from RACC.
