The Cabinet Selection reaches back to when British gentlemen had cigars made to their own taste, kept them in plain wooden boxes, and stood those boxes in a cabinet. No band, nothing to announce. This one is blended by Hendrik Kelner Jr at his Kelner Boutique Factory, under a Cotuí wrapper his sister Monika grows on leaf held back for the family. It is called Ristretto for a reason. Casdagli built it to sit beside a good coffee, and that is exactly where it belongs.
Cream and vanilla arrive first and stay, a bright thread of lemongrass off the Cotuí keeps everything lifted, and just enough pepper at the edges gives it shape. Full flavored in a small format, made for a short sitting with an espresso within reach. Shipped nationwide across Japan from RACC.
