A 2019 maduro in the Guardian of the Farm line, dressed in a Nicaraguan Corojo Maduro wrapper grown in Jalapa.

It lights up earthy, solid earth leading, with wood, anise, and coffee close behind. Then it turns sweet: dark fruit, prune, and dark chocolate, like a brownie dusted with cocoa. The retrohale brings a milk chocolate that is almost cake-like, with a bold red pepper heat for contrast. The aroma carries chocolate brownie and fresh blackberry.
