• Wrapper: Dominican Corojo

• Binder: Dominican Corojo

• Filler: Dominican Corojo

• Size: Corona Extra, 140mm

One of the four original finds from 2014. The first One Night Stand was a single batch from 2008, Corojo wrapper, Corojo binder, Corojo filler, all Dominican, and when it sold out the name made sense. It has come back since in other vintages, always the same idea: a Dominican Corojo puro, aged before it is released, rolled at a factory the brand does not name. Boxes of ten.

A puro built from one leaf has nowhere to hide, and this one does not need to. It is dark and direct, espresso and cocoa powder from the first puff, dry and toasty with a smoky backbone that holds the whole thing upright, and that is the profile from start to finish. Medium strength. The cigar for the end of a dinner, when you want something that tastes like a strong coffee rather than dessert. Shipped nationwide across Japan from RACC.
