Pepper Cream Soda was the first cigar Lost & Found ever released, in February 2014, a single aged batch found in a Dominican factory and named after exactly what it tasted like. The name has been worn by more than one blend since, and this is the one that became regular production: Ecuadorian Arapiraca over an all Dominican core, commissioned and aged on purpose, rolled at a factory the brand does not name. Boxes of ten.

It does what the name says. Very creamy from the first puff, then the soda arrives, closer to cola than anything else, with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla stirred into it. The pepper in the name is the fizz, a small lift that is only there to make the cream and the soda taste brighter, never to bite. A heavy citrus note runs through the whole cigar and finishes on clear orange peel, as clean a finish as I have had from a Dominican. Medium strength, not aggressive for a second. This is a cigar you struggle to put down. I ended my first one in a pipe because I could not hold the stub any more, and that last inch gave up faint chocolate.
