Crafted to make a grand entrance, Favorito is the launching pad for Hendrik Kelner’s inaugural line. At its core lies a Dominican Cotuí wrapper, a “family reserve tobacco” by Monika Kelner, adding distinction to the blend. The filler, a blend of 60% Dominican, 20% Nicaraguan, and 20% USA Broad Leaf tobaccos, enveloped by a 9-year-old Dominican Cotuí wrapper, promises a unique smoking experience. With a Bonao binder introducing subtle spice, Favorito is a medium-bodied masterpiece, offering a nuanced flavor profile and balanced strength.
Expect a sourdough flavor throughout the cigar, that will put some relief to the blend of sweet coffee and chocolate, butter and baking spices.
