Created to mark the brand's launch in Belarus in 2012, when the Grand Café in Minsk became the first client to carry the line. The Traditional Line revives Jeremy Casdagli's original 1990s Cuban blends, reborn today through Hendrik Kelner Jr. at KBF in Santiago.

Here at RACC we have a soft spot for lanceros. Once you have smoked for a while, the shape starts to feel special. There is an elegance to it, and with less wrapper around the filler, the blend comes through sharper and cleaner, with a longer finish that lingers.

A Brazilian Cubra wrapper sits over Dominican and Nicaraguan Condega viso, and the Grand Café is fragrant from the very first draw. Vanilla, cookie dough, and sweet espresso step forward together, like a slow afternoon waltz. That cookie dough note takes me straight back to the buttery French biscuits of my childhood, the ones with a kind little word pressed into them. The name says it all: light it with a good afternoon coffee and settle in for something aromatic and unhurried.
