The Domaine Rouge is a tribute to Pascal Decoppet, the late father of founder Sébastien Decoppet. It runs a blend from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Paraguay, wrapped in Habano, and it is built to be complex and balanced.
Light it and it opens with sweet dark chocolate and roasted coffee. From there it moves into rich stone fruit and a dominant chestnut, with subtle black pepper sitting behind. As it burns down it deepens into dried fruit, creamy caramel, and a whisper of cedar. A real staple, in my opinion.
