The Henkie line is named for Hendrik "Henke" Kelner, who blended for Davidoff across decades and shaped a good part of what Dominican tobacco means today. The original Henkie was built around the cigars he used to smoke. This smaller one was blended by his son and his grandson around the cigars he reaches for now, which tells you where it sits. The wrapper is aged Yamasá leaf from Monika Kelner's farm, the binder is her Cotuí, and it finishes with a closed foot that looks very good on a cigar this size.

Salted nuts run through the centre of it, cream softens the entry, baking spices and coffee fill out the second half, and a quiet turn of dark fruits and leather sits underneath. Medium the whole way, and a lot of flavor packed into a small format. Shipped nationwide across Japan from RACC.
